The Elevation Church was founded by Pastors Godman and Bola Akinlabi on October 10, 2010, in Nigeria, with a clear mandate: to make Greatness Common. Since then, the church has grown into a global movement with locations in Nigeria, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. We are excited to be part of this vision here in Manchester, UK—committed to helping people experience the transforming power of Jesus and rise to their full potential, with the help of God and through the strength of community.
In October 2010, the Elevation Church was founded by Godman and Bolarinwa Akinlabi. Since then, it has evolved into a global community with thousands of faithful members from diverse church expressions.
Our church is blessed with exceptional leadership from Pastors Godman and Bola, who are supported by a devoted team of pastors and ministers. Together, they are driven by the divine mission: To make greatness common.
Pastor Godman is an accomplished author, speaker, and expert in leadership and relationship coaching. Pastor Bola is a distinguished teacher, speaker, and visionary behind the renowned Made for More Women conference. The couple, who have been happily married for several years, are blessed with two adorable daughters, Danielle and Annabel.
